An Irish Blessing for St. Patrick's Day

I am half Irish. We have always celebrated St. Patrick's Day in my family as my mom was Irish. We did not go overboard. However, we always made our traditional corned beef and cabbage dinner, made shamrocks and just had fun, family traditions we liked to do. Every year was something different.

Now that we have Xavier every year is something different. This year since St. Patrick's day falls on a Tuesday it was extremely hard for us to do very much. It is also in a very busy week this year so we basically are going with the light decorations and the delicious Mom's Recipe Box Crock Pot Corned Beef and Cabbage recipe.

I hope you all had a fun and safe weekend and have a great St. Patrick's Day. Enjoy this Irish Blessing for the upcoming year!

May you live a long life
Full of gladness and health,
With a pocket of gold
As the least of your wealth.
May the dreams you hold dearest,
Be those which come true,
The kindess you spread,
Keep returning to you.

Happy St. Patrick's Day from our family to yours!
