Kid Friendly New Year's Eve

This was our second and much more successful year of having a Kid Friendly New Year's Eve party. Last year a group of us got together and brought our food, and kids, and let them play. After having so much more fun playing with the kids last year, I thought it would be much more fun to throw them a party.
So let's face it, as a parent, you do not have a lot of options for New Year's Eve. You can either sit at home or go out, if you are lucky enough to find a babysitter. A few mommy friends of mine decided that we should all get together at one person's house with our children and have an early party for them. It ended up being so much fun that I decided to have another one this year.

Our kid friendly New Year's Eve party had fun games, yummy food, sparkling grape juice, hats, noise makers, glow sticks and a 9pm Balloon Drop. We ended up having every age of child. We started at 6pm and did a countdown balloon drop with the kids at 9pm. Then, at midnight we did an adult toast!

Xavier loved the balloon drop, of course he loves balloons. I was proud that he made it up until 10:30pm this year! We had a fun music dance party for the children after the balloon drop where they got to dance, play the noise makers, and play with the balloons. It ended up being a great fun for all. I was happy and lucky to be able to spend the New Year's with such wonderful friends and family.

I hope you all have a wonderful New Year filled with amazing things that make you laugh and love even more than ever!
