Oven Roasted Baby Back Ribs

Now that Spring is here in full bloom. You can see buds budding and our Easter decorations are now up and flowers are all around. One of the things I love best about the Spring and Summer are cooking.
Lots of friends and family come and visit and hang out on warm nights and we have a lot of dinners together. One of my favorite dishes are these easy Oven Roasted Baby Back Ribs. They take a long time to cook, but are worth the wait and are minimal effort. I like to put them in ahead of time and go have fun! I hope your family enjoys them as much as we do!

Oven Roasted Baby Back Ribs

- one large slab of baby back pork ribs
- garlic powder (or garlic salt)
- Paprika
- Barbecue Sauce (use whatever is your favorite, but lean towards a sweeter than a hotter sauce otherwise it will not taste well with the brown sugar)
- Brown Sugar

Spray large 9x11 pan with cooking spray. Put in slab of ribs. You may need to cut them in half see as I have done in the picture. Sprinkle the ribs with garlic powder and paprika.
Cook for 1 hour at 350 uncovered.

After the first hour take them out and put on the Barbecue sauce, you may want a brush to spread it around evenly.

Cook at 450 degrees for another 30 minutes
Take out and lightly sprinkle brown sugar on the ribs.

COOK AT 450 DEGREES FOR ONLY 10-15 MINUTES! YOU MAY WANT TO WATCH YOUR RIBS BECAUSE IF COOKED TOO LONG ON THIS INTERVAL THE SUGAR WILL BURN AND YOU WILL END UP BURNING THE OUTSIDE OF THE RIBS. Note: Since I have made that mistake many times, if you burn your ribs, the meat underneath the skin is still very good and tasty.
