Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

Did you know that the story of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is so popular it is actually a phrase that is used. The phrase is "Jekyll and Hyde" and it means "a person who is vastly different in moral character from one situation to the next" (Wikipedia). Underneath this definition of Jekyll and Hyde was this picture.

This is a picture of my son, Xavier. AKA Hyde or the beginning of a Hyde personality starting to develop. You see the last couple weeks Xavier has had a total of eight teeth popping the surface all at once.  All of his first molars and canines are coming in at the same time. They are light miniature rockets getting ready to burst out and the poor little guy has been holding his head pretty low in pain the last few weeks. If you have no idea what I am talking about with the teeth, check out my Teething Troubles post for a teething timetable. His teeth are so bad sometimes even his nose runs constantly. When he is Hyde there is no pleasing him. No matter of cuddles, playtime, fun food, new activities, nothing seems to work. We have to just wrestle with the storm. There is no knowing how long it lasts. Last time he got all four front teeth at once it was a good three weeks before we saw our loving Dr. Jekyll back. We are going into week three of this molar/canine situation and I am hoping to see my little Dr. Jekyll return back to our lives again.
