One Pan Chicken Dinner

  There is simply no recipe I love more as a mom then something that you can throw in the pan and put in the oven. Then, while it is cooking I can play with my family and we can all enjoy the scrumptious aroma of food and sit down to eat and enjoy. I made this recipe because who does not need a new chicken recipe, plus you can cook it all in one dish and clean it all up when done. I hope you enjoy the convenience and the taste!



One Pan Chicken Dinner
- serves around 4 people

Ingredients 
- 4-5 chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 1/2 cup rice
- 1 cup onion
- 1 cup celery
- 1 cup carrots
- 1/4 tsp. paprika
- 3 cup chicken broth

Directions
- Pour melted butter in 9x13 pan.



 Mix flour, salt, pepper and paprika and dip chicken in the mixture and coat both sides.
 


 Put chicken covered in mixture in pan and bake uncovered.
Cook uncovered at 375 for 30 minutes.



- While chicken is cooking mix rice, carrots, onion and celery in another bowl.



- Take out chicken and put on another plate.
- Pour rice mixture into the pan and then pour the chicken broth and stir
- Put chicken pieces back on the top of the rice mixture and cover with foil.



- Bake at 375 for another 25 minutes
- Then take off the foil and bake at 375 for 20 minutes



Serve hot!

  1. Thank you for the recipe. You are right, who doesn't need a new chicken recipe. I like to look for recipes where I can give my kids a job.
    They could mix the ingredients together after I chop. They are more likely to try something that they "cooked" anyway.

    1. Right now Xavier only bangs pots. It will be nice when he can participate some more. I have many fond memories helping my mom cook.
