Inevitably every parent will end up teaching their child some crazy thing to do. I knew it was coming with Nick and my crazy personalities it was only a matter of time before we imparted some thing crazy onto Xavier. It has been quite hectic here in the Arbia house the last month or so and the other day just Xavier and I were eating dinner (leftover spaghetti and eggplant). He has been cranky from teething again and I was just tired so we were both moody. To lighten things up I took a bite of the food and sang "Mmm yummy in my tummy, so yummy, so yummy" and kind of wiggled in my chair. I then proceeded to feed him with his spoon and after he took a bite he said "Mmmm" and wiggled in his chair like a dance. I started laughing and so did he and hence our dinner of leftovers together got much brighter.
Since that day Xavier now feels the need to dance in his high chair at every meal but it is pretty funny and cute and certainly something I am glad to see. It is nice to know that he finds meal time so much fun. Plus it is always nice to brighten the day with some dancing and singing.
