In order to keep my blog moving along and to get some more traffic I have decided to do some reviewing of products and services. However, I am trying to stay committed to only doing one a week as I have noticed many blogs get bogged down with reviews and give-a-ways and there is no real content to read. I will make a promise to try not to do that and to make sure I have actual content to read. Also, I will try to make reviews stay at home mom related although anyone who is a stay at home mom knows we wear many "hats" so that is still a broad range of products and services. If you would like me to review a product or service you can email me at ReneeArbia@yahoo.com. Thanks so much for your continued support to all my loyal readers.

We have always tried to take Xavier out with us as much as possible. For a seven month old he does have a lot of social engagements. In fact his calendar is usually more full then mine. However, we just started eating out a little more with him. I am not a big eat out type of girl. A flaw of many good cooks, you realize you can make many dishes much better yourself therefore the need to go out is not as prominent. However, after having a baby I am more willing to go out to eat. I do not have as much energy to cook and the idea of new experiences with my family is a lot more fun.
Monday night after running errands most of the day we decided to take a fun night out and go out to eat. I have always loved Olive Gardens I realize they are not the same in every city as some are better then others but I have always loved the one here in Wilmington. This trip definitely did not disappoint. We got there at about 6pm and it was pretty crowded for a Monday, but I was happy to see many families with children were there so my son would not be the only baby. They were very prompt with the highchair and even made sure there was nothing that we needed for Xavier right away. I now carry my handy cart cover to restaurants as well. It is not because of germs but because it has some soft, quiet toys attached to it that Xavier likes and it keeps him entertained. We ordered our food and our bread sticks and salad came out right away. Xavier got his first taste of a bread stick and olives. He really liked them both. It ended up taking a little longer then usual for us to get our food. Nick just happen to mention that it was taking a little longer then usual when they came out with our food and the manager came an apologized for the tardiness. Of course, we said it was no big deal. Heck, I am just happy to be out of the house sometimes it does not matter what I am waiting on. Then, unfortunately, Nick's dinner was cold. So he asked if he could have another and they replaced it no problem. We enjoyed our meal. I ordered the Lobster Cannelloni with Shrimp and Nick enjoyed his Portobello mushroom ravioli. Xavier enjoyed the mushroom ravioli as well. I ordered a yummy Tiramisu to go which I thoroughly enjoyed later. However, before we left we received the check and both of our dinners were free due to the problems with them. We did not ask for this. In fact we had a nice experience and would have planned on coming back to this Olive Garden. However, the fact that they took the initiative to comp our dinner without being asked meant a lot to us. So just for that we are definitely going back to our Olive Garden and I especially wanted to review this restaurant for the outstanding service and good food they had provided us. Too often people forget just how small things can mean to their customers and I wanted to make sure that this one went noticed. Check out your local Olive Garden for some good food and great service.
