Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies







      Everyone could always use a new cookie recipe. I am not a big baker, cooking is more my specialty but I saw these on Pinterest and thought I would give them a try. They are a great compromise, I love peanut butter cookies and my husband loves chocolate chip. This combination is fabulous! They are not too peanut buttery for my husband and I love the chocolate and peanut butter combination. They are very easy to make and do not take long at all. You probably have everything already in your kitchen, except perhaps the chocolate chips. Enjoy!



Notes About Recipe:
- Please note you need to chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least an hour. I did just the one hour and it turned out fine, but you will need longer if you want it more manageable to have perfect shaped cookies. We were more concerned with eating them.
- Warning these are very delicious might want to make two batches.
Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup softened butter
- 1/2 cup of peanut butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/4 cups of flour
- 1/2 to 1 Tbsp. milk ( add at the end to make dough smooth and creamy)

Directions:

Beat butter and peanut butter with electric mixer for about 30 seconds.





Add sugar, brown sugar, baking soda and baking powder and beat until combined.





Beat in egg and vanilla. Stir in the flour a little at a time. Add enough milk to make the dough smooth and creamy.





Add chocolate chips. Chill dough in refrigerator for at least one hour.





Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Drop cookies with a spoon in small balls onto greased cookie sheets.





Cook for 7 - 10 minutes until golden brown and toothpick comes out clean. Transfer to wire rack to cool. Makes about 36 cookies.
